Charrington’s Sparkling Ciders are the refreshing and sophisticated cider of choice for any occasion. We use a wine-style fermentation in small batches. Maturation may last up to 2 years. The blended ciders are carbonated (like a Prosecco or Cava, rather than secondary fermented like a Champagne) to generate small fine bubbles and enhance the aromas and mouth feel.

We have three different varieties of equal quality but with their own distinctive characters. Have you tried them all?

Firstly, we have the beautifully crisp and dry Private Bin. This is our most wine-like cider. It has a slight lemon colour, with fresh apple aromas and a stream of fine bubbles. Made from a blend of Russet, Cox and Bramley apples, Private Bin is multi-award winning and pairs well with nibbles, white meats and hard cheeses.

Next, is the fantastic Cryals Classic. This Best Cider at the Quality Drink Awards is medium with a pale citrus colour, ripe apple aroma and a creamy bead of bubbles. It contains the same apple varieties but they’re blended differently so that the finished cider is a touch sweeter and fruitier. It pairs well with Roast pork, lightly spiced dishes and blue cheeses.

Last but definitely not least is the Queen Of Cox, a Limited Edition cox-only creation. A delectable off-dry cider with a green tinge, honeycombe aroma and steady stream of bubbles. It has distinctive notes and crispness. Only ever available in 750ml bottles it’s also a Best Cider winner at the Quality Drink Awards.

Enjoy each of these award-winning ciders chilled and served in a champagne flute. A superb lighter alternative to sparkling wine and ideal accompaniment to a nice lunch!
