BIG FARMLAND BIRD COUNT – FEBRUARY 7TH TO 23RD

Every year we take part in the Big Farmland Bird Count.

While bird numbers have declined by 63% over the last 50 years, I am pleased to say that our bird numbers have grown and our safe and food rich apple orchards and hedgerows make a real difference in fighting the decline providing year round shelter, habitat and food sources for a great wealth of birds. Our personal favourite is the fieldfare but you need to be quick to count them!
